HERCULES European School
for Users of Synchrotron and Neutron Facilities
The HERCULES School is a high-level, interdisciplinary 5-week training programme dedicated to current and future users of synchrotron and neutron facilities. Held every year in Grenoble (France), it brings together young and senior scientists from a wide range of scientific fields.
Participants benefit from lectures by leading international experts, combined with hands-on experimental training at major large-scale research infrastructures, including ESRF, ILL, IBS and CNRS in Grenoble, plus one additional week at a partner facility such as ALBA, MAX IV & ESS, SOLEIL or KIT.
The programme offers two scientific tracks:
-
Session A: Physics and Chemistry of Condensed Matter
